Stats That Matter
Three hidden systems affect which ending you receive:
Love Gauge — Tracks whether Hisako’s affection leans toward Norihito or the Boss. Choices that protect, accompany, or prioritize Hisako push the gauge toward Norihito. Ignoring her or allowing the Boss’s influence to grow pushes it the other way. If Love is too low, even winning the final QTE leads to Corruption.
Pregnancy Risk — A hidden stat that increases throughout the game. It determines whether you qualify for True End versus Pure Love after following similar choices. The convenience store contraceptive decision is the most important lever: buying out the stock lowers risk, while leaving stock on shelves raises it.
Critical Choices — Several story flags are binary and cannot be undone without reloading. The game often warns you before major branches, but not every flag is explicitly labeled.
Pure Love (Good Ending)
The Pure Love ending represents Norihito successfully protecting Hisako and winning her back. Follow these steps throughout your playthrough:
- Make supportive choices whenever Hisako appears in dialogue. Avoid leaving her alone at clubs or ignoring her requests.
- Rush in during the Secret Ransom event at the izakaya. Failing to intervene pushes the story toward Corruption.
- Infiltrate the Boss’s house using Spirit Form after the elderly man gives you a Level 3 spirit stone near your home.
- Delete the camera recording on the second floor of the Boss’s house.
- Remove the item from the second-floor bedroom (dildo pickup) after the relevant story trigger.
- Discover evidence at the Boss’s office on the night after the second Temptation event.
- Choose to accuse the Boss after the Completely Consumed event.
- Win the final QTE battle without a single missed input.
The final QTE is notoriously difficult. It uses fixed directional patterns but allows no mistakes. Use keyboard input rather than a wireless gamepad to reduce input lag. Save immediately before the battle so you can retry.
Contraceptive note: For Pure Love specifically, pregnancy risk should remain low. Do not buy out contraceptive stock at the convenience store if you are aiming for this ending without True End complications.
Corruption (Bad Ending)
The Corruption ending triggers when Norihito fails to protect Hisako. You will reach this ending if any of the following occur:
- You do not accuse the Boss after the Completely Consumed event
- The Love gauge is too low from repeatedly neglecting Hisako
- You leave Hisako alone at the members-only club
- You fail the final QTE battle even with otherwise correct choices
- You ignore the Secret Ransom event without rushing in
Corruption is the fastest ending to reach accidentally. Many first-time players arrive here without intending to. After any ending, the Spirit Realm lets you unlock missed scenes for 5,000G.
True End
The True End requires meeting Pure Love conditions plus a specific pregnancy risk threshold. Community research and developer comments on Ci-en confirm the following:
- Follow all Pure Love route choices listed above
- Pregnancy Risk must reach exactly 100 at the critical trigger point
- Do NOT buy out contraceptive stock at the convenience store after discovering pills in Hisako’s bag
- Accuse the Boss and win the final QTE
At launch, the True End trigger was bugged and nearly impossible to reach. Version 1.2 (August 22, 2025) fixed the condition so Pregnancy Risk == 100 properly activates the True End flag. If you play an older copy, update to v1.2 first.
Developer notes suggest the original design intended players to reach risk 100 by avoiding contraceptive purchases, but early builds made the stat unreliable. After the patch, taking Good Ending steps with risk at 100 should unlock True End.
